Economic Security
Helping working families move from surviving to stable.
We improve the economic security of low-income working families by building community understanding of the pressures they face, aligning service providers so families are not bounced between agencies, and investing in the programs that measurably drive households toward sustained stability.
Economic insecurity is rarely one problem. It is a car repair colliding with a rent increase colliding with a lost shift. Our grants are designed to absorb that collision before it becomes an eviction.
We fund benefits-navigation staff inside trusted local organisations — because the fastest income boost for most families is claiming support they already qualify for.
We track a single outcome: the share of families still stably housed and employed twelve months after the intervention.
How this program works
- Emergency stabilisation grants averaging $850 per household
- Benefits navigation so families claim what they are already owed
- Employer partnerships for predictable scheduling and wage floors
