AIDS / HIV Awareness
Better lives today, fewer infections tomorrow.
We work to improve quality of life for people living with HIV and AIDS and to reduce new infections, through high-quality HIV education, community outreach and testing delivered in a genuinely non-judgemental way.
Testing only works when people are willing to walk through the door. That means meeting people where they already are and removing every trace of judgement from the encounter.
We fund mobile and community-venue testing alongside guaranteed same-week linkage to clinical care, because a positive result without a next appointment is a failure.
Education programs are designed and delivered by peers from the affected communities, not written for them.
How this program works
- Free, confidential rapid testing at community venues
- Same-week linkage to care for every positive result
- Peer-led education designed with the communities it serves
