Breast Cancer Program
Screening access now, research breakthroughs next.
We save lives by meeting the most critical community needs — screening access, diagnosis and treatment support — while investing in the breakthrough research that will prevent and ultimately cure breast cancer.
Survival differences in breast cancer are, to a painful degree, differences in access. Late diagnosis tracks income more closely than biology.
We fund screening for uninsured women and the practical costs — transport, childcare, lost wages — that cause women to miss treatment appointments.
Alongside that, we make multi-year grants to early-career researchers, whose best work is too often lost to short funding cycles.
How this program works
- Free screening for uninsured and underinsured women
- Transport, childcare and lost-wage support during treatment
- Multi-year research grants for early-career investigators
